Our extra-curricular programme is tailored to your interests – meaning you get to experience new exciting activities, have fun and make good friends.


We run over 20 different activities each week – from sport clubs to academic and self-development activities, all of which are great for your university application. We encourage all of our students to join in with their peers and have fun, be it Debating, Chess, Meditation or Reading club.

Sports include:

Basketball, Yoga, Fitness class, Zumba, Rugby, Intercollege football, Girls football, Holiday events, (e.g. paintballing, bowling, ice skating)

Arts include:

Photography club, World music, Drawing skills, Film club, Singing lessons, Cross-stitch club, Creative writing, Drop everything and read book club



We encourage you to take part in a range of academic competitions including science Olympiads, maths challenges or business competitions, and to make use of our links with professional experts from organisations including Siemens and National Bank of Australia. These opportunities make you stand out in university applications, by developing important personal skills including independence, critical thinking, team working and leadership.

CATS Boston exchange programme

CATS London participates in an annual exchange with our CATS campus located in Boston, USA. Through this exchange you are able to experience everything the academic and cosmopolitan city of Boston has to offer, as well as meeting new students from around the world, and partaking in activities and lessons on campus.

Cultural and international evenings

Our students regularly organise international evenings where you can celebrate and learn about the rich mix of cultures we have at CATS, involving presentations, music, games, national dress, food and fun.

Trips all over the world

Our trips allow you to explore new cities and embrace other cultures, while also complementing your classroom learning by applying it to real-world experiences. Recent trips have included an Art visit to Berlin (Germany), Cambridge, and the Warner Bros studios to see the Harry Potter Exhibition.

Charity fundraising

At CATS London we are committed to raising money for our chosen charity, United World Schools (UWS) who create educational opportunities for children living in the world’s poorest regions. You can get involved in brainstorming, organising and undertaking a range of fundraising events.
