Study Fashion or Design and Illustration in London – one of the world's most creative cities

The CATS London Foundation programme is a pre-university qualification specially designed to prepare international students to enter onto an arts-related degree at university. The college offers a one-year (three-term) option starting in September 2020. This course is offered in association with CSVPA, Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts, a dedicated arts and performance school, based in the UK.

The Foundation in Graphic Design and Illustration at CATS London is a practical programme that allows you to progress your ideas and produce a critically informed portfolio within visual communication.


Are you interested in fashion or the fashion industry? Do you dream of a career in the world of  fashion and would like to explore how to design and make your own things?

At CATS London we have designed a highly practical programme. You will produce a critically-informed portfolio within the British Art School context. This way of study has generated many world-leading fashion designers.

What are the age requirements? 17+ years
What are the academic entry requirements? Successful completion of High School (Grade 11 or 12 depending on home country) is needed or 1 x A level or 2 x AS levels at grade E or above and 5 x GCSEs at grade 4 or C or equivalent, preferably in a relevant creative subject. Students who do not meet these entry requirements will still be considered on their potential to succeed.
What are the creative entry requirements? A portfolio of your own creative work
What are the English language requirements? IELTS 4.5+ (no element under 4.0) Tier 4 General applicants will require a SELT
How long will I study each week? 20 hours of study per week
