University offer success for CATS students 2020

University preparation 22 January 2020

Congratulations to our students who secured offers at top UK universities including the University of Oxford and University of Cambridge, two of the highest ranked universities in the world*.

Across CATS Colleges students are receiving offers to some outstanding universities, including conditional offers to Oxford and Cambridge to study Mathematics and Chemistry, an exceptional achievement.

Students hold offers to 23 of the 24 Russell Group universities, such as Imperial, Durham, Warwick and Edinburgh.  This is a result of the hard work and effort that our students have made during their studies as well as the extra opportunities available to students interested competitive degrees such as medicine, law or architecture.

One student from Russia, holding an offer to study Biomedical Science at UCL, commented:

“As part of the additional Key Professions support all students can access, universities come in and give us tips on how to apply, what you should put in your personal statement, what grades you need to get, and what other activities you should participate in to have an advantage over the other candidates, it has been so helpful”.

Another student from Hong Kong holding an offer to study Law at University of Warwick said:

“There are a lot of students out there who are way smarter than I am, however, the extra opportunities at CATS will give you experience and make you more competitive in your university application”.
