Results of University Foundation Programme Announced

Congratulations to our UFP students who have received outstanding exam results this week, and to their teachers who have been keeping their fingers crossed for them. 55% of our students gained at least one A*, A or B, with subjects such as Accounting, Biology and Mathematics doing particularly well, where 51%, 48% and 41% of students who received A* or A respectively. Talking about students’ achievements, Craig Wilson, Executive Principal, said "I would like to thank all CATS teachers and members of the UFP team for their hard work and wish a successful and bright future to all UFP students."
CATS Canterbury University Foundation Programme student Jesse from the USA has received A* in Business, A* in Economics and A in Mathematics.
University Foundation Programme is designed for international students to bridge high schools within their own countries to universities in the UK. The programme is created in conjunction with academics from top universities, including Loughborough, Exeter and Bristol, to ensure that it consistently meets the expectations of leading universities. Financial Trading University Foundation Programme is meant for students who are interested in the dynamic nature of business, the economic environment, financial trading and markets, while the new University Foundation Programme in Engineering aims to provide the necessary knowledge of Physics, Mathematics and Materials Science to enable progression to Higher Education.
