CATS Colleges Virtual Spring University Fair

University preparation 25 March 2021

Last week CATS’ students were invited to attend the CATS Colleges Virtual Spring University Fair. 84 Universities including King’s College London, University of Edinburgh, University of Bristol and Brunel University London delivered presentations, Q&A sessions, and informal drop-in meetings for our students.

Students were able to join a variety of online rooms based on their choices, to learn more about university programmes. They also got to ask existing universities students and alumni questions about entrance exams, internships and tips on how to choose the right course.

Katy Fair, Senior International Recruitment Officer from Nottingham Trent University, said: “We are very keen to take part in this event. It gives students an opportunity to talk to us and for us to support them in this whole new world situation. And make them feel confident to come to the UK if they are not here yet and let them know which precautions we have in place.”

Lyndsey Ashton, Regional Development Manager from Manchester Metropolitan University, agreed: “We have a lot of one-to-one contact with CATS’ students. They are always great to talk to, always interested and ask good questions about what happens when the real world eventually starts to reappear”.
