A level results 2019: 56% of confirmed offers to a top ten UK university

Congratulations to CATS College students who received their A level results today.
Highlights on results day include:

  • 56% of confirmed offers to a top ten UK university*
  • 91% of confirmed offers to a top 50 UK university* in a range of competitive degrees including Medicine, Law and Computer Science

 

Craig Wilson, Executive Principal of CATS Colleges, comments:

“Congratulations to all our students on their A level success. You have come from all around the world to prepare for university and develop as confident young adults, and have met offers to study at top universities including Imperial, University College London, King’s College London and University of Manchester.”

Jing from Singapore is celebrating after achieving A*A*AB in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Economics, meeting her offer to study Law at Birmingham. She was particularly impressed with the exam preparation and English support she received. Talking about her CATS experience, Jing says:

“Because of the support from teachers and exam practice I knew what to expect, it made me feel more confident.”

Darius from Nigeria also achieved outstanding grades, A*A*A* in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, he intends to study Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. He goes on to add:

“Here you see everyone working hard and that encourages you to succeed.”

Rodrigo from Brazil achieved AAA in Mathematics, History and Geography is looking forward to progressing to the University of Edinburgh to further his knowledge on a Business with Marketing degree as he hopes to pursue a career in airline management:

“Studying Business will give me opportunities to enter the airline industry and either manage an airline or airport.”

There are three CATS Colleges in the UK in leading university cities - Cambridge, Canterbury and London – all designed to prepare international students for university success through first-class teaching, outstanding pastoral care, English language support, and one-to-one university applications guidance.

Next A level start date is September 2019 followed by January 2020.
