A level results 2018: 62% of students achieve A*/A

Congratulations to CATS College students who received their A level results today. 2018 is another outstanding year. On results day:

  • 62% of students achieved A*/A
  • 85% of confirmed offers are to Russell Group universities in a range of subjects including Medicine, Veterinary Science, Bio-Medical Science and Pharmacy
  • 63% of students achieved A*/A in Further Mathematics

Stuart White, Managing Director of CATS Colleges, comments:

“Well done to all our students who have worked particularly hard to be the best that they can be and are now reaping their rewards with outstanding results and places at top universities. Students have met offers to study at a range of universities including Imperial, Durham, Lancaster, UCL, LSE and King’s College London.”

A former CATS A level student, Anastasia from Russia, is also celebrating today as she has graduated with First Class Honours in Government and Economics from LSE. Talking about her time at CATS, Anastasia says:

“CATS offered an enriching experience giving me the opportunity to apply to top universities like the London School of Economics.

“Because I was happy, with great support from the teachers, I was able to work really hard towards goals that I didn’t think were previously possible.”

Anastasia is now taking a Masters Degree in Creative and Collaborative Industries at University College London and hopes for a career in the Arts.
