Level 2 Maths for A level and UFP students
Most UK universities require that students hold an official/government approved Level 2 Mathematics qualification at grade C/4 or above. This is needed for every university course, even if it does not contain much Mathematics content.
If students are not studying A level or UFP Mathematics as a subject and cannot provide proof of their qualification then we strongly advise that they study GCSE Mathematics in a class at CATS and sit the GCSE examination at the end of the year. If students do not do so they are at risk of severely limiting their choice of university. The cost of this class will be £500 per term.
The official Mathematics qualification at Level 2 (or above) needs to be a certificate from a government, not just a school. Level 2 is the level which you usually take exams in at age 15/16. If you would like further advice on this please send an email to email@example.com.
