UFP Results
Despite the initial confusion and chaos of results announcements in the UK, we are pleased to report that our students received the excellent results they deserved – with some of the best performances ever across our portfolio of courses.
A staggering 93% of our GCSE students achieved grades of 9-4, significantly outperforming the national benchmark of 76%.
At A Level, we experienced a 99% pass rate overall with almost three-quarters of all students achieving grade B or higher and 40% scored at least one A*. Furthermore, 58% of students achieved top A*/A grades in Humanities, 53% in Maths, 49% in Natural Sciences and 56% in the Extended Project Qualification. With such outstanding results, it is no surprise to learn that our students have been accepted to study at some of the world’s leading universities, including Russell Group members, Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol and University College London (UCL).
For the fourth year running, our International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma students achieved a 100% pass rate, with our highest score ever of 44/45. Many have already met offers to study Physics, Medicine, Law and Economics at top universities including St Andrews, Nottingham, Birmingham and Brunel. Also record-breaking were the results of the CATS University Foundation Programme (UFP) students, the 95% pass rate their best ever. Already some of the UK’s top 25 universities have accepted over 160 of our students.
“I’ve always been interested in knowing more and felt the preparation in my country was not enough to reach highly ranked universities in the future. I really enjoyed the practical aspects of my subjects, especially for Chemistry and Physics, I was able to touch the science, get involved and engage with it.”
