Boarding facilities

We invest heavily in our campuses to ensure we provide a “home-from-home” for students to enjoy learning and living in whilst studying with us. We also constantly upgrade our living spaces to ensure our students are comfortable – the majority of our bedrooms are on campus and are new or recently improved.

  • Great campus locations within some of the best student cities in the World
  • Award-winning state-of-the-art facilities
  • Campuses are safe and secure with no unauthorised access
  • University-style single ensuite rooms available
  • High speed Wi-Fi – with strict restricted access to non-child friendly sites and is turned off late at night to encourage students to rest
  • Campuses are subject to rigorous accreditation and inspection by the ISI in the UK and NEASC in the USA
  • Over 100 clubs and activities run by specialists who design an extra-curricular programme based on students’ needs and interests
  • Fully supervised residences
  • All meals are served on campus for catered students, cooked by our team of onsite Chefs
  • Student common rooms and shared dining facilities provide plenty of space for students to relax and socialise together
  • Each student room has high-standard furniture and bedding, and every student has access to laundry facilities
  • Students have age appropriate curfews to balance independence with academic success
  • 24-hour residential supervisors for under-18s

Support

We recognise that moving away from home is a big and sometimes daunting decision. To help students settle in we have an extensive range of support networks and family-orientated staff. Over 90% of our students board with us, and we know how to take care of them and nurture their different cultural needs.

  • Every campus has dedicated boarding staff to provide 24/7 support to all students
  • On campus medical provision
  • Student Services Teams are available to answer any questions students may have and help everyone settle into life at CATS
  • Two-way communication between House Parents and College staff – House Parents make teachers aware of issues that happen outside of college hours such as homesickness, trouble with homework or difficulties sleeping
  • Welfare Officers will ensure that students have everything they need – offering advice on travel, culture shock, personal support and counselling
  • Our boarding and welfare managers form part of CATS senior leadership team – we put boarding needs at the heart of the way we run every campus
  • Supervised homework and study sessions outside of school hours
  • Enhanced care and guidance for students aged under 16
  • Students are offered support to open a local bank account
